Poor hubby.
He tried hard.
Flowers were ordered (in advance, nonetheless).
Flowers never arrived.
Hubby was not pleased.
TWO dozen pink, white and red tulips lost somewhere between Owasso and Collinsville (if ya'll are from around here you know how short of a distance that is).
No flowers for the wife.
Honestly, I don't mind that I didn't get flowers (I'd rather have fabric anyway!). I just love it that he ordered the flowers IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!! He tried, and that's all that matters.
So, MY Hunter spent the night at his grandparents house, and THE hunter and I went to a friend's house for Gumbo and Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes!!!!!!
Not a bad Valentine's Day at all!

Oh he must have been so disappointed. Glad you had a good day though.
Wow. Not a far distance at all. Please tell me that he got his money back!
Mmmmmm....chocolate fudge cupcakes sound tasty. DANG IT AMY! I'm dying for some chocolate and I can't have any! I have to weigh tomorrow! If I cave and eat some chocolate, I'm blaming your post.
Awe, poor guy! He really tried, which is more than some guys did *achem*...not naming any names here.
Glad you had a great Valentine's Day anyway!!
How sweet that he ordered your pretty tulips. Did they ever arrive?
I really hate poor customer service :(
That's a huge bummer! But, it is the thought that counts.
We had a Cajun theme for cooking club last night. No one brought Gumbo. I was really wanting some Gumbo!
Darlin' be thankful he doesn't mind flowers - mine insists that flowers die and he's not going to buy something already on it's way to the cemetary. :) blessings, marlene
