Hi Friends! it's Tuesday, so I'm linkin up with those RHOK ladies!
THE hunter and I just got back from a super quick jaunt down to Texas and back. We literally left at 4am Friday morning and got home at 9pm Saturday night! Lots of riding in the car for me.
The drive really wasn't too bad, but of course THE hunter wanted to stop at the haven of all hunters: Cabelas!!!!
Hit Cabelas in Fort Worth and then another hour or so down to Granbury!!!! Yay!
Got to the wedding of one of my most favorite Texas chicks in the whole wide world, Madelline and her now hubby, Robert, where I was roped into being the photographer which was cool and all, but it was 110 degrees down there! It's Texas in July people! H-O-T!!!!!! I had sweat running down places that sweat has no place to run....unless you're running, but honestly I didn't see too many people outside running in Texas. Hmm.
Ok, anyway, I didn't get to take any pics of my own from the wedding except for this one of me and THE hunter at the reception.
Saturday morning I drug THE hunter to Granbury's awesomely fabulous Square!!!! I love the square. I could move my whole family to Texas so that I can be close to the Square. I could live at the square. I have been dreaming of going back to the Square ever since I left it the Summer of 2006.
They just have the cutest shops for anything and everything you could possibly want or need! Cookin stuff, antiques, clothes, salsa, ice cream, wine, quilting stuff, sports stuff. Just everything!
Here's the courthouse in the middle of the Square. It's under construction at the moment.
Here's a couple of the beautiful homes just off the square.
I asked THE hunter if I could have one. He said no. He's so unreasonable.

Oh my, those houses are gorgeous! I love old neighborhoods like that! Glad you made it home safe, and you didn't melt!
I spent a lot of time in Granbury. We used to have a lake house there! Needless to say, I was in high school and college and not interested in shopping.
Glad you had fun!
Thanks for linking up with the RHOK!
Ooh -I love those houses -beautiful! Sounds like a pretty cool place -glad you had fun!
So beautiful! I can see why you would want to live there! Men!
We love Granbury! I haven't ever had the privilege of shopping at the square or even EATING at the square but I will someday. My bestie lives outside of Weatherford and of course we lived in FW for 7 years. I miss it.
I have never been to Grandbury -looks like so much fun. I love those houses!
