Can any of you fabulous ladies out there in blogland tell me what pattern this table runner is?
I think it's so pretty, but I have no idea what it's called! It looks like a good "sometime in the future when I'm a better quilter" project. Speaking of, I just can't tell ya'll how much fun it is to converse back and forth! I love reading all your blogs and reading the emails that I receive! It just reaffirms how glad and blessed I am for trying out and falling in love with quilting! Ya'll are awesome and just so inspiring!

It looks like a Cathedral Window pattern of some sort. I don't know where you'd find the pattern for that runner, but here is a tutorial for making cathedral windows.

Yep -- it's a cathedral window. I love them and I've seen some gorgeous versions out in blogland that have modern fabrics. It's a bit tricky, but it sure is pretty!
That's a gorgeous pattern!
It's Cathedral Window. It is generally made from a plain fabric which is folded into a rectangle, then a square, then the corners are folded into the middle with a piece of contrasting fabric underneath the folds. The folded, pointy bits have bias edges which are then rolled back. All your squares are then sewn together. Cos it's got lots of layers, it doesn't usually have batting in it. There, how helpful was that? Teehee.
