I am all but done with the adorable baby quilt that I am making for a very good friend's friends' baby! (Did I say that right, because it sure looks funky?!)
Anywho, I have named it "Butterflies for
Makenzy." It's just the sweetest little quilt. I've just got half the label to finish sewing to the back and it's off to live in someone
else's nursery! Now that I'm all but finished with this quilt, I'm looking for another project to move on to....hello, Christmas is coming! My husband as declared our home a "quilt-free zone" for at least a week or two before I become the "crazy quilt lady" at our house again. Hey, when the quilt's not perfect I can get a little cranky!

Isn't it fun! I got some other fabric to coordinate with it, too. I can't wait for it to get here!!! Poor, poor husband!
Hehehehehe!!!!!! I'm sure he'll make the
correlation between the witches on the fabric and, well, me, but hey, who isn't at one time or another?!

i think that you will love the Ghastlies fabric - the characters are really big, though, and i had to totally modify what i was gonna do (which is STILL just a flimsy and i'm wondering if i will EVER get it quilted) ... the customer service from Desperate Quilters is pretty much awesome (i like Today's Quilting Tomorrow's Heirlooms, too)
