Log cabin...check!

It's done!!!!!

Well, ya'll knew that, but here's the pictures to prove it!
My very first log!!!!

I really like it a lot more than I thought I was going to.
Now I want to get working on Sue's fall leaves log cabin pattern! Beautiful!

Of course, that's after I finish the stained glass dragonfly quilt I just started.....

and the "Secret" Santa quilt that I'm starting the class for tomorrow!

So here's a close up of the quilting detail

And here's a close up of the pretty binding detail. I did something a little different with this binding than usual. I don't have any traces of binding on the I pulled it all around to the front so that there would be more room to do the pretty stitches on the front!

Different, but pretty I think!

And here's a reminder of the "before"!

The quilt is brilliant Amy. I love the quilting design you used, and your binding idea was so clever and pretty.

Now I'd better get busy adapting that pattern for you hadn't I?

Hi Amy,
Yay for finishing your quilt! I've never made a log cabin but it's on my "to do" list.

The quilting is beautiful. Is it your own free motion design?
