Royal Mail

Guess what I found when I got home last Friday????

Yes! I got mail....from Sue!!! My fabulous friend Sue (quilttimes.blogspot.com - yes, I still don't know how to do the direct link thing) from England! If you don't know her blog, you are sadly missing out! I've never had international mail before! I'm so excited!!! (and, yes, those are THE hunter's huntin' boots.....love hunting season, sigh)

Isn't it fabulous! She sent mail not only to me, but also sent sugar for THE hunter (husband) and MY Hunter (boy-child)! Isn't she the sweetest!?

The note inside was so sweet and I love love love the cathedral window pincushion! How did she know it was my favorite pattern!?

Now, what to send back? Possibilities are endless........

I'm also sharing pictures of some of my favorite quilts from last weekend's Claremore Quilt Show that my Mom and I went to. Just a few, because there were just sooooo many pretty ones! I feel all inspired like!

This was one of my favorites...and a close up of the pretty detailing!

A pretty Christmas stained glass tree skirt and table runner.

Another pretty stained glass piece. Can you tell I'm lovin the stained glass?!

I loved this yellow and red one too. No ribbon for this one though :(

Lovin the fall one!

This was the raffle quilt (that I really really wanted...but didn't win)!
It was so colorful and lovely!

I bought this stunning little winter tree kit! I can't wait to work on this.......along with all the other projects!I also bought the panel of the Tale of Two Kitties! Who knows what I'll do with that, but somethings you just "have" to have!!!

So, really, a good time was had by all! After the quilt show, we took MY Hunter to Bass Pro in Broken Arrow to have his picture taken. Look how stinkin cute he is!

Glad the package arrived OK and you liked the contents.

Thanks for taking us to the quilt show. We don't have many here and I managed to miss the only one this year that is near me! Think I've got withdrawal symptoms as I haven't been to a quilt show for 12 months now and won't till next August at the earliest.

As for your picture of Little Hunter, it's gorgeous, he is just so cute.
